Creepy Crawlies and Assorted Little Critters

Creepy Crawlies and Assorted Little Critters

Whenever I go outside either on foot or cycling I keep an eye out for anything insect-like as it might be worth a photo. Here follows a random collection of whatever crawled, walked, slithered, or flew in front of my mobile... OK, this one I took inside! And to finish it off here's some hardcore centipede porn! Artist's impression... P.s. My friend Ray often posts great nature pics: https://mainlythai.shutterchance.com/

    Canals & River Cleaning

For years there have been many attempts to clean up the Chao Phraya River and Bangkok's 'khlongs' (canals) as well as those in the vicinity, but it remains a massive ongoing struggle. I guess you could call the classic Isuzu TXD truck Thailand’s workhorse as it was (& still is) widely used (& abused), especially upcountry. This one looked in surprisingly good condition! There have been many versions driving around, from basic ‘Flintstone’ without doors + wooden seat to upgrad
    Street photography

    Street photography

According to my bio (and tags) I engage in ‘street photography', but what exactly does that entail? I take it very liberally and shoot whatever catches my eye while walking/cycling along the road. Wikipedia takes it a bit more seriously: Street photography, also sometimes called candid photography, is photography conducted for art or inquiry that features unmediated chance encounters and random incidents within public places. Though people usually feature directly, street pho
