
One Man's Junk...
Last month I revisited the large flea/junk market in Amsterdam held on the grounds of the NDSM shipyard. The biggest difference was that this time most of the selling was done inside one of the buildings of the old IJ-Hallen complex. (*) This was just as well as the weather had turned miserable again. Back To Thailand Again
After 5 weeks in the Netherlands, it was high time to return to Thailand again. On the first of November, the new Thailand Pass Registration website went 'live' and as expected there were several glitches... No pdf documents uploads allowed, multiple documents upload failure (after uploading the 2nd, the 1st got deleted!) and a real cracker: when filling out your passport number you had to add space between numbers and letters! Foggy Bike Ride
Autumn weather in the Netherlands usually consists of dreary, rainy weather, with occasionally a tiny bit of sunshine. Yesterday morning however was different, serious fog everywhere! I grabbed my bike and set off for an eery ride through the meadows and fields, good fun, but seriously cold! Surprisingly enough I saw more horses than cows that morning.
