Bussing around Surat Thani

As we had some time before taking the day train back to Bangkok we decided to take a local orange bus from the (Phunphin) station into town for some walking around and shooting a few photos.

It slowly drove into the heart of Surat Thani which didn’t look that attractive due to the overcast sky and rush hour conditions.

Our walk around the bus station didn’t last that long as we were more interested in finding a decent breakfast (instead of the tourist fair offered around the station) than taking photos of daily life, but the buses, Michelin dolls and drivers made up for that, quite photogenic as well, have a look.

Also classic, the bus fare in and out of town was different, but by now we consider that (almost!) normal.
