Mortal Kombat (Tours?)

Of all the decorated buses I have seen so far this one really stands out...

Last time I cycled by I was lucky enough to meet some of the bus company people who told me that this coach was already 6 years old and the fancy paint job (outsourced) was done last year.

It seemed good timing as a new Mortal Kombat movie was scheduled for January 2021, but this has been postponed due to Covid (what else is new…).

The front features 13 massive speakers, and not just for decoration, they occasionally use them as well!

Mortal Kombat was originally a video game that came out in 1992, my sons used to play it (*).

Since then there have been several upgrades and even a few movies, most of them very successful.

Mortal Kombat Tours anyone?!

Operated by the Elder Gods it will take you probably to Earthrealm, Netherrealm, Outworld, Seido, Edenia, and the Realm of Chaos.

Johnny Cage and Jax Briggs are your drivers, Sonya Blade serves drinks, Quan Chi and Noob Saibot will make sure that you behave…

The journey will end after centuries in Armageddon, don’t forget to tip the staff afterwards!

The driver’s cabin looks more like a DJ booth than anything else.

The back door features 3 large speakers to welcome the passengers…

The number of available microphones for the passengers upstairs promises lots of karaoke fun…

The downstairs passenger area looks remarkably subdued, no hidden demons to be seen...

The staff asked me to pose for them as well since I had taken lots of shots of their bus, sure, why not?!
